Lead on the commercial success of Reuters Events conferences in the automotive sector, including hitting quality, timelines, revenue and attendance targets
Set sales and marketing strategy for the entire project
Research markets, identify hot business issues, and develop conference agendas
Conduct high-profile marketing campaigns and contribute to future strategy and business planning
Mentor and manage other Conference Producers, including deadline management, monitoring event performance, planning (strategic, financial and operational), and providing guidance and coaching
Oversee quality control on products, marketing and client relations
Participate in central projects core to driving the business forward
Requirements
Demonstrable experience of working at a commercial B2B conference company, ideally in a Producer role
Track record of commercial and sales success
Excellent project and time management skills
Ability to work in changing circumstances
Experience managing entire projects at scale and/or portfolios, and/or growing commercial events/products from scratch
Ability to mentor and manage other Conference Producers, including deadline management and coaching
Commercially driven with understanding of customer commercial drivers
Interest in business and entrepreneurial spirit
Strong communication, research, and analytical skills
Target-driven mindset
Ability to identify new business trends and develop events accordingly
Automotive knowledge preferred but not required
