About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for crypto trading, wallet, and payment systems.
- Build high-performance APIs for order matching, deposits/withdrawals, and real-time transaction processing.
- Implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, custodians, and payment gateways.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance for high-volume crypto transactions.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and security teams to deliver end-to-end crypto product features.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code following best engineering practices.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and improve backend infrastructure.
- Stay up to date with blockchain, crypto, and security best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience (preferably in fintech/crypto).
- Strong programming skills in **Go / Java / Phyton **(Stockbit’s core stack is Go preferred).
- Deep knowledge of **RESTful API / gRPC**, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Solid understanding of **concurrency, distributed systems, and high-performance backend design**.
- Experience with **RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL)** and **NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, etc.)**.
- Experience with **message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)** for real-time transaction processing.
- Hands-on experience with **blockchain/crypto integration** (wallet services, Web3 APIs, smart contracts, exchange systems) is a big plus.
- Familiarity with **security best practices**: encryption, key management, KYC/AML compliance.
- Experience with **Docker/Kubernetes** and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
