About the role
- Senior Auditor collaborating with clients and managing audit engagements from start to finish. Developing audit strategies and leading teams to enhance client financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced Managers and Partners across a variety of industry sectors
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Develop a detailed understanding of clients' business operations, processes, and financial reporting systems
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with clients to address their business challenges
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and standards
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in external auditing
- Proficient with IFRS and PBE IPSAS standards
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred
- Relevant degree qualification
- Solid organisation and time management
- Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously
