About the role

  • Provide input, guidance and support to the organization in activating the strategic priorities of CBC/Radio-Canada French Services.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to support leadership teams in their decision-making.
  • Review strategic options based on internal and external analysis, and make recommendations.
  • Facilitate group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
  • Create and deliver presentations for various committees.
  • Stay current on media industry trends to support strategic thinking.
  • Write strategic communications materials (executive summaries, reports, presentations, newsletters, etc.).

Requirements

  • University degree in media studies, management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years’ relevant experience in the media industry, with a strong understanding of the environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture and simplify and explain complex topics.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose new ideas and recommendations.
  • Strong ability to deliver compelling presentations to large groups and leadership teams.
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written) is an asset.
