About the role

  • FP&A Analyst supporting strategic decision-making across finance team at VistaVu Solutions. Involved in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting for mid-market companies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare variance analysis with clear explanations and actionable insights.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand cost drivers, revenue trends, and operational performance.
  • Prepare and deliver regular financial reports and dashboards for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Track and monitor key financial and operational KPIs to support performance management.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
  • Act as a trusted financial partner to business leaders, supporting planning, performance tracking, and decision-making.
  • Assist leaders in understanding financial results and the financial impact of operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial reporting and planning assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities.
  • Support enhancements to financial systems, tools, and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar systems) is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or progress toward one) is an asset.
