Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries (JEs) accurately and on time, ensuring proper GL coding and account classification.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities across multiple entities.
- Analyze P&L variances and provide explanations for key fluctuations.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and reporting.
- Assist with intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations as needed.
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to process improvements in accounting operations and ERP workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- +7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within multinational or shared service environments.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GL structure, and journal entry preparation.
- Proven experience in GL coding, account classification, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- English fluency (spoken and written).
