Accountant in a fast-growing e-mobility company focusing on charging infrastructure. Responsible for accounting processes and optimizing financial operations.
Responsibilities
Accounts payable: creating and maintaining supplier records, reviewing and posting invoices, ongoing communication with suppliers, and preparing payments
Accounts receivable: while the invoicing process is largely automated, you will verify the accuracy and completeness of receivables, and communicate with roaming partners to ensure timely payment
Reconciliation of bank accounts, PayPal, and credit cards
Processing expense claims
Fixed asset accounting, including clear organization of records for deployed charging infrastructure
Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Point of contact for external tax advisors in Germany
Collaboration with audit firms servicing international subsidiaries to improve their use of our ERP system Odoo (or their interface to Odoo)
Participation in period-end close and ad-hoc accounting projects
Requirements
You have completed vocational training or a degree (preferably in accounting, taxation, or business) and have at least 3 years of professional experience in an accounting role
Good knowledge of German accounting principles (HGB) and VAT rules
You are an excellent communicator and fluent in English (our working language) and German
Experience working with at least one ERP system and with MS Office (or equivalent)
Customer-oriented, friendly, and positive attitude
Well organized, reliable, accurate, highly attentive to detail, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
