Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across various industries to adopt our payment services (e.g., QR payments, e-wallets).
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive transaction volume, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), commercial terms, and service agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Technology, Operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
Act as the main point of contact for merchant queries, support requests, and escalations.
Monitor account and portfolio performance, track transaction volumes, and identify opportunities for growth and upselling.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs within the payments and fintech space.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within fintech, payments, or financial services.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to analyze data and identify actionable insights for account growth.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with remittance, payment gateways, or digital wallets is an advantage.
Familiarity with Web3 ecosystems, crypto products, or blockchain technologies is a strong advantage.
Can speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
