About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing relationships in the safety glass sector across Germany. Driving customer engagement, business strategies, and market analysis for long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and outreach to potential new customers in the safety glass segment
  • Building, maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships
  • Preparation of quotes, cost calculations and conducting contract negotiations
  • Technical consultation on the properties and benefits of safety glass products
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments
  • Support and advising of existing customers to realize cross-selling potential
  • Continuous analysis of market and competitive developments
  • Conducting expert product presentations and trainings
  • Coordination of customer projects
  • Representing the company at trade fairs, specialist events and industry conferences
  • Maintaining and expanding the professional network within the safety glass industry

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in a commercial, technical or skilled trades field
  • Several years of experience in sales, ideally in the technical or industrial sector
  • Experience in managing major accounts and acquiring new customers
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Solid knowledge in the area of safety glass or a related product field desirable
  • Technical understanding
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Team player with high social competence
