About the role

  • Build and nurture a network of journalists, analysts and influencers; craft pitching strategies and manage media engagements (briefings, roundtables)
  • Create and refine content including press releases, Q&A documents, bylines and support development of strategic plans in English and/or Chinese
  • Design and execute integrated marketing communications (IMC) blending paid, owned and earned media for multi-channel campaigns
  • Support client relations by managing day-to-day activities across multiple accounts and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Drive operational excellence and collaborate with teams; maintain ownership and balance resources across projects
  • Contribute to new business activities including RFPs, pitch decks and presentations to secure tech clients
  • Mentor and train junior staff; provide constructive feedback and manage direct reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, PR/Advertising, Marketing/Integrated Communications, Journalism, Linguistics or other relevant degrees
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Some experience in media relations, client servicing and project management
  • Interested in working with financial firms, fintech, digital assets and web3
  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in another language would be an advantage
  • Passion for digital and social media communications
  • Entrepreneurial and curious mindset
  • Leadership/mentorship experience (serving as direct manager to junior staff)
  • Tech-savvy and strong networking skills
  • Prefer candidates based in Singapore or Malaysia with existing rights to work in either country
