About the role
- SAP Solution & Basis Specialist supporting and developing SAP environments at PwC Poland. Focusing on SAP security, issue resolution, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop SAP Solution Manager and SAP Basis areas, including user authorization management, role configuration, and profile setup
- Design and implement SAP security policies and conduct authorization audits
- Resolve 2nd and 3rd line support tickets related to SAP Basis, authorizations, and cross-application issues
- Diagnose technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and configure SAP systems to deliver effective solutions
- Design and optimize SAP security roles based on business requirements
- Collaborate with 1st-level support and other IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Build strong client relationships by addressing support topics promptly and effectively
- Lead and execute minor projects and system changes tailored to specific customer needs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support issues, solutions, and project changes
Requirements
- University degree (preferably in IT, Management, or Economics)
- Experience with SAP Basis and BC-SEC module, including role and authorization object configuration
- Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (e.g., ChaRM, monitoring, technical documentation)
- Ability to design and implement SAP security policies with compliance and risk management in mind
- Experience conducting security audits and recommending improvements
- Familiarity with ticket management systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Understanding of ITIL principles and managed service processes
- Strong command of English (German is a plus)
