About the role
- MSL managing key opinion leader relationships for biopharmaceutical company. Providing scientific exchange and support for Medical Affairs activities in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders regarding disease-state and product-specific information within assigned geography
- Provide scientific exchange and communication of FDA approved and pipeline products
- Serve as primary liaison with investigators interested in developing and conducting investigator-initiated research
- Document and forward reports of adverse events according to the internal policy to ensure safe and effective use of the company's products
- Attend and serve at scientific lead at regional and national congress meetings and provide support for Medical Affairs activities and scientific sessions
- Generate and routinely communicate medical insights
- Stays current on market issues/trends and product knowledge in therapeutic areas that are relevant to company's business
- Ability to develop/maintain an effective professional network
Requirements
- Previous MSL experience required (minimum of 5 years)
- 5+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or related industry
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, DNP) – preferred
- Proven track record of success
- Demonstrated leadership experience and execution (project management, workstream leadership, etc.)
- Experience making scientific presentations
- Neuropsych (especially ADHD) experience – strongly preferred
