About the role
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Specialist enhancing internal SAP team at Optotune. Configure and improve finance, procurement, and manufacturing processes in a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud in the areas of FI, CO, MM, PP, and SD
- Ensure correct setup and operation of Chart of Accounts, tax settings, and statutory reporting (e.g., Intrastat)
- Own the functional side of Central Invoice Management (CIM) – configuration, testing, training, and issue resolution
- Support finance, procurement, and production teams in month-end processes, costing, and inventory valuation
- Assist with structure reviews and configuration updates (e.g., work centres, cost objects, COGS accounts)
- Coordinate with business stakeholders (Finance leadership, AP, Procurement, Production, Sales) to align requirements
- Document configurations, changes, and support knowledge transfer across teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with SAP, including at least 1 year with S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Strong functional knowledge in finance and controlling, with practical configuration experience
- Background as an accountant or controller with an understanding of business processes
- Experience in the following areas is an advantage: Procurement (MM), Manufacturing (PP), or Sales (SD) processes
- Familiarity with tax reporting, integration points (e.g., MRP, returns, goods movements), and end-user support
- Experience working with Central Business Configuration/Solution Manager
- Proficient in English and Slovak
