Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to pursue organizational objectives by building highly scalable solutions, maintaining a broad view of both technical and business impacts, ensuring responsiveness to opportunities and issues, and acting proactively to enable sustainable technical evolution of the organization and the business.
- Implement technology improvements aligned with market best practices, maintaining code quality and design standards following Tech Leads’ recommendations.
- Perform tests under simulated operational conditions to verify correct execution and adequate performance, creating production-like environments and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Design and architect solutions together with other developers and/or Tech Leads.
- Verify that the developed product meets the specifications defined in the project.
- Prepare documentation, data dictionaries, manuals, and technical reports for systems and application development (Wiki).
- Develop systems and applications that meet customer needs while preserving the company’s profitability.
- Monitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support management and help distribute tasks across the team.
- Produce technical analyses and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Serve as a technical and cultural reference for the team.
- Work autonomously, lead complex initiatives, and resolve problems.
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend development with Java (8+)
- Mastery of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate)
- Experience with scalable and resilient architectures (e.g., microservices)
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Kanban) and DevOps practices
- Experience with application security, especially in financial contexts
- Good communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with financial products
- Desirable: experience with Open Finance (regulatory APIs, data sharing, PIX, integrations)
- Postgraduate degree completed is a plus.
