About the role

  • Technical Lead for Open Finance solutions in Brazil focusing on data sharing and ensuring compliance. Leading a development team to build scalable and secure platforms within regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Technically lead the development team in building and evolving Open Finance solutions with emphasis on data sharing, open data and customer data, ensuring the application of engineering, architecture and regulatory compliance best practices
  • Design and implement scalable, secure and interoperable platforms for the Open Finance ecosystem, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and the Central Bank's technical specifications
  • Serve as a technical reference and knowledge multiplier, promoting mentoring, pair programming, code reviews and dissemination of technical standards aligned with Open Finance guidelines and business requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, cross-functional teams and stakeholders (business, legal, security, compliance), ensuring technical decisions are aligned with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements and the capacity of the enabling architecture
  • Ensure code quality, adoption of automated testing (unit, integration and contract tests) and CI/CD practices appropriate for regulated and critical environments
  • Implement and monitor observability, traceability and performance of APIs and data-sharing services, focusing on reliable user experiences and prevention of failures in production environments
  • Actively participate in the investigation and resolution of critical production incidents, driving fast diagnostics and structural actions to prevent recurrence
  • Identify technical risks and continuous improvement opportunities, proposing innovative solutions that balance regulation, data governance, innovation and operational efficiency
  • Ensure the adoption of architectural, security and software governance standards and guidelines, focusing on the sustainability and scalability of integrations with participants of the Open Finance ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Java development (version 8 or higher)
  • Deep knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and JPA/Hibernate
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with messaging and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Kanban) and DevOps practices
  • Experience with security practices in financial applications and data protection
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Desirable: experience in Open Finance ecosystem projects, especially in data sharing journeys, regulatory APIs and integration among participants.
