About the role
- Act as a business consultant to help customers achieve their objectives by being an excellent communicator
- Problem solve with an extraordinary technical and functional understanding of Accounting Principles along with SAP products
- Support end users from a functional and/or technical perspective and analyze and review their business requirements or processes
- Troubleshoot and configure SAP FICO including integration points with other modules and cross functional design/build of other modules
- Work on multiple projects as a project team member or team lead
- Lead fit/gap and other working sessions to translate requirements into solutions using SAP Best Practices
- Prepare clear and concise documentation and provide timely status updates
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and assess corporate impacts of changes
- Provide knowledge transfer to clients and fellow consultants in formal and ad hoc settings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Travel up to 20%
- 5 years of SAP FICO experience with a detailed understanding and experience with financial closing and consolidation
- Fluent in SAP Financials modules (FI/CO)
- Sound understanding of financial close, consolidation process, and reporting
- Experience in the project lifecycle from requirements gathering, solution design, realization, testing, go-live preparation, and execution, as well as hyper-care
- Proficient in business processes associated with financial operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting
- Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including use case of standard Fiori applications
- Hands-on SAP Analysis for Office experience
- Exceptional analytical and conceptional design thinking skills
- Working towards or holding CPA (preferred)
- Strong knowledge and experience of financial closing and consolidation processes (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Group Reporting (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
