About the role

  • Support the Sales and Clinical teams in driving technology adoption and building strong relationships with clinicians
  • Assist with in-OR and Cath-Lab activities
  • Gain exposure to therapy insights
  • Develop skills to provide training and educational support
  • Provide administrative support to the sales function, such as coordinating meetings and appointments within allocated accounts
  • Conduct statistical analysis on sales data to support optimal execution and growth objectives
  • Maintain online sales and marketing systems, verifying data accuracy, and liaising with IT to resolve issues
  • Administer the field sales forecasting system to provide management with current product sales potential
  • Support activities within specified accounts to gain training on the Operating Unit (OU) and Sales processes
  • Act as a liaison between Government and Commercial teams regarding pending orders (specific to Government accounts)
  • Promote Medtronic products and services within assigned geographic areas or customer accounts, supporting the sales team in meeting or exceeding targets

Requirements

  • Recently graduated with a degree, preferably in a medical field
  • Able to travel to support internal stakeholders
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be under the age of 30
  • Must not have participated in a YES programme previously
  • Valid driver’s license (would be a plus)
  • Clinical experience in a hospital setting (would be a plus)
  • Familiarity with MDT technologies (would be a plus)
