About the role

  • Sales Intern developing efficiencies and supporting leadership at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Engaging with research scientists and identifying sales opportunities in various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency
  • Become a process owner; critically review specific processes and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in sales product and systems trainings, marketing campaigns, and special projects
  • Connect with research scientists tied to specific accounts for product information and sales presentations
  • Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts in assigned geography
  • Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., PPI, Six Sigma, and others)

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student completing a Life Sciences-related degree between December 2026 and June 2027
  • 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred
  • Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence
