About the role

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and educate them on building an EV charging business using Virta’s platform.
  • Drive new business development and accelerate net sales growth in the French market with focus on the Fleet sector.
  • Take full ownership of the sales process—from prospecting to closing deals—while achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture new sales opportunities and manage the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles with a consultative selling approach and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Report directly to Sales Director Europe West and work closely with European sales, product, and technology teams.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in selling complex solutions and closing new business.
  • Experience in software or service sales (SaaS) and managing multiple sales cycles.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to engage C-level executives.
  • Understanding of value-based selling and passion for technology and innovation.
  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships, manage existing accounts, and close new opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the enterprise and corporate landscape in France.
  • Focused experience or ability to drive business development in the Fleet sector (corporate fleets, logistics, leasing companies, mobility providers).
  • Proven track record of engaging with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex business environments and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and SPIN.
  • Skilled in leveraging digital sales tools, including HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Expertise in developing presentations, crafting business proposals, and leading discovery workshops.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally as required.
  • EU work authorization required.
