About the role

  • Sales Development Representative identifying potential ecommerce and SaaS clients for Airwallex. Responsibilities include research, outreach, and qualifying opportunities for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and identifying potential clients within the ecommerce and SaaS industries
  • Reaching out to prospects through various channels (email, phone, social media) and understanding their needs
  • Presenting our innovative solutions and crafting compelling value propositions
  • Qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A genuine passion for ecommerce, SaaS and the tech industry
  • 6+ months experience in sales (preferred)
  • Experience or desire to be working in a fast paced environment, particularly in 0-1 mode
  • Strategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations
  • Solution oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and organized way of thinking/working
  • Proficient in GSuite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
