We’re looking for a superstar to join our Korea Dream Team as Retail Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent brand experience, service quality, and operational excellence across all retail touchpoints in South Korea This role drives in-store execution, retail KPIs, and service standards, while maintaining strong relationships with frontline teams and store management.
As a Retail Manager you will be responsible for:
In-Store Execution & Brand Experience
Ensure brand experience, service quality, and retail excellence are consistently delivered across all stores.
Conduct regular store visits to monitor visual merchandising compliance, tester hygiene, and address stock-out issues.
Drive the in-store execution of campaigns, events, and animations to achieve sales targets and brand visibility.
Act as the primary in-store liaison with counter managers, providing feedback and actionable insights to HQ.
Retail Team Management
Lead and manage frontline retail teams to deliver service excellence and commercial results.
Oversee recruitment and hiring of full-time and part-time retail staff across South Korea.
Develop and implement incentive programs to drive performance.
Plan, manage, and optimise roster scheduling to meet operational and sales requirements.
Operational Excellence
Manage distribution of samples and TOAs (Testers on Account) to stores in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure operational processes are aligned across all markets for consistency and efficiency.
INTERNAL USE
Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, VM, Education, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless execution
Retail Eventing
Lead over the counter retail events like masterclass and makeovers
Support on offsite trade events like pop ups
KPIs & Performance
Monitor retail KPIs including sales, conversion rates, and customer service scores.
Identify gaps and implement action plans to improve retail performance.
Track execution quality and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Requirements
Must be able to travel within region and to Magic Office regularly. Roughly a 50/50 split
Minimum five years’ experience in Retail Sales Management
Strong people focus, team spirited and passionate about developing teams
Proven track record of successful negotiations & ability to influence others

Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Effective communicator, both written and verbal with a structured and organised approach
