- Solar PV Construction Site Manager overseeing field operations for solar projects in Mississippi. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and construction quality on-site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee assigned projects' field operations/installation side to ensure safe, accurate, and complete equipment installation within estimated timelines.
- Provide interface between contractors/subcontractors and client.
- Review/Create project-specific site work plans and prepare quality surveillance plans.
- Prepare and review various reports, including construction and quality surveillance.
- Verify contractors adhere to client's safety standards and monitor construction work quality, costs, and schedule.
- Conduct quality control visits to project sites and coordinate with subcontractors regarding installation information and timeline during installation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of field construction management experience within the power generation industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in solar generation facilities.
- Extensive, relative, and successful experience in construction oversight of commercial or industrial Solar PV greenfield/brownfield projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with MS Office and a quick learner in new software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors daily on greenfield construction sites in inclement weather and uneven grades.
