About the role

  • Reliability Engineer at Airgas developing and executing reliability strategies across production facilities. Leading safety initiatives and managing asset reliability risks in the AMG operations.

Responsibilities

  • The Reliability Engineer (RE) will be an integral part of the development and execution of the reliability strategy and associated reliability programs within Airgas Merchant Gases (AMG) - Primary Production.
  • The RE is a leader in safety and identifies and manages asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations including developing and assisting Plant Managers with projects to correct these risks.
  • The RE must interface successfully with associates across the United States and influentially lead the organization to drive the continuous improvement of reliability in the AMG facilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Maintenance and Reliability experience
  • Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA) including complex investigations
  • Must be familiar with typically reliability tools such as: Preliminary hazards analysis, Failure modes and effects analysis, Criticality analysis, Simplified failure modes and effects analysis, Maintainability information, Fault tree and event tree analysis, PdM technologies including oil analysis, vibration analysis, ultrasonic noise analysis, and infrared analysis
