About the role
- Technical Trainer conducting workshops and training sessions on MERKUR Group's product content for diverse audiences. Engaging with employees and clients to ensure smooth product operation and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for both our employees and customers, in-person and online
- Create and maintain training materials for different products and target groups
- Regular on-site visits to employees and customers at branches or venues
- Support back-office colleagues with organizing and preparing upcoming training sessions
- Continuously update product knowledge for both hardware and software
- Support the sales team with technical advice at trade shows and exhibitions
Requirements
- Completed technical qualification (e.g., radio and television technician, communications electronics technician, or electronics technician for devices and systems) or a commercial qualification (e.g., industrial clerk)
- Training experience or professional experience in a comparable role and a strong technical understanding; additional industry experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of English is desirable
- High willingness to travel (approx. 50% within Germany) and a valid driving license (class B)
- Strong customer focus, excellent didactic skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently
