About the role

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve growth targets and customer plans across the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, business partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead your team in preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to win new business.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply teams to ensure seamless customer engagement.
  • Drive business development activities, negotiate deals, and ensure effective pricing and agreements.
  • Monitor budgets, report on variances, and recommend solutions to maximise efficiency and profitability.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged sales team through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Optimise use of our CRM platform to capture meaningful business intelligence and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Sales Manager in the building or construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce (Business/Marketing) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop others.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
