About the role

  • Method development and validation for preventive maintenance and repairs including materials and time studies
  • Conduct field data analysis to define optimal replacement intervals for elevator components during the life cycle
  • Simulate and assess how service plans impact equipment reliability and availability over the life time.
  • Contribute to the development of digital maintenance strategies including diagnostics, sensor integration, and remote failure mode detection
  • Act as a subject matter expert in service development projects in collaboration with other KTI teams, Business, Area and Frontlines

Requirements

  • MSc or BSc degree in a relevant field
  • Interest and experience in data-driven maintenance optimization and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) process
  • Familiar with design for maintainability principles, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Experience with RAM (Reliability-Availability-Maintainability) simulations and related tools like ReliaSoft BlockSim, RCM++, Matlab or any other system simulation environments
  • Solid understanding of reliability engineering, condition monitoring technologies, and sensor applications (considered a strong asset)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and related tools (considered a plus)
  • Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems (considered beneficial)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • A self-driven approach and a track record of delivering strong results.
