About the role
- Lead Project Engineer focusing on Technology Strategy in Boeing's Defense, Space, and Security sector. Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance product portfolio through engineering and technology excellence.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with teams that represent multiple skill areas, program management, business development, and leadership
- Identify and pursue opportunities to address technology and engineering needs
- Drive coordination with AD Leadership to identify Technology Requirements
- Develop yearly Technology Plans
- Maintain compliance of government requirements for all IR&D spend
- Champion and coordinate AD Technology Requirements across Business Units
- Drive coordination with AD Leadership to assess program maturity and readiness compliance for Engineering
- Establish gate review strategies and schedules to support key program milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent
- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners
- 7+ years experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
- 9+ years experience in Project Management and/or Systems Engineering
- 9+ years experience designing and developing systems in a DoD research and development environment
