About the role
- Engineer in supply technology overseeing operations and maintenance of gas and water plants. Required to optimize processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, operation and maintenance of gas pressure regulation stations and water pressure reduction stations
- Analysis of maintenance reports and determination of maintenance intervals
- Commissioning and decommissioning of plants in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Issuing instructions to and supervising external contractors
- Initiating and overseeing necessary modification and conversion works
- Directing and supervising the work execution of EWR employees
- Liaison with customers, authorities and suppliers
- Certification/qualification in accordance with DVGW worksheets G280, G495 and G498
- Participation in the on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Completed degree as Diplom-Ingenieur, Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering
- Experience in the operation of gas and water systems or in plant engineering
- Knowledge of the DVGW regulatory framework, accident prevention/safety regulations, and environmental and hazardous substances law
- Further training and/or seminars on the installation and operation of facilities in gas and water networks
- Customer orientation and a professional, competent appearance
- Leadership skills to provide technical direction and supervise work execution
- Valid driving license (Class B)
- Experience with industry-specific software/IT systems
