About the role
- QA Engineer performing manual testing for TomTom's platform products in Amsterdam. This role involves creating test cases, reporting bugs, and collaborating with the team for quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual (new feature testing, regression, exploratory, non functional) testing.
- Write and execute test cases for features after clarifying the requirements.
- Report and reproduce bugs.
- Run automated scripts, analyze failures, and gather logs for debugging.
- Design, review, and maintain test cases (based on the product scope).
- Perform drive testing (conditional).
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of computer science principles acquired through a relevant degree or personal learning.
- Knowledge of Testing Fundamentals acquired through experience or by completion of professional testing courses at basic levels.
- Familiarity with commonly used testing tools and frameworks.
- 1-3 years of hands-on testing exposure with good knowledge of test processes.
- Ability to identify risk areas, define proper test coverage and improve current tests.
- Quality Assurance and Testing mindset and passion.
- Fluent in English (verbal, reading, writing).
