About the role

  • Investigate, reproduce, and document bugs with clear steps, logs, and media to support efficient resolution;
  • Verify developer fixes and ensure regressions are identified and prevented across platforms;
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of test strategies, regression plans, and QA workflows;
  • Collaborate effectively with a remote, cross-functional European team in a fast-paced development environment;
  • Design, build, and maintain internal QA tools and automation scripts to streamline testing and boost coverage;
  • Utilize profiling and diagnostic tools to track down crashes and performance bottlenecks;
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on evolving game systems;
  • Continuously analyze and improve QA processes, including documentation standards and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in QA for PC/console games, including live or post-launch support;
  • Proficient understanding of game development and software testing methodologies;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the software development process and life cycle;
  • Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of problem spaces, and proposing practical solutions;
  • Familiar with JIRA, TestRail, and version control tools (e.g., Git or Perforce);
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Confident B1+ level of English.
  • Will be a plus: Knowledge of different gaming platforms and their certification processes;
  • Will be a plus: Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting;
  • Will be a plus: Experience with CI integration for QA (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity)
