About the role
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests for GEN core business systems
- Maintain and enhance platform infrastructure supporting Gen products by providing reliable, scalable, and automated systems solutions
- Perform maintenance operations for a 24/7 infrastructure environment and monitor service metrics using cloud-based solutions
- Develop Terraform modules, automated pipelines, and runbooks to improve infrastructure reliability
- Participate in web testing activities including analysis, test case creation, manual end-to-end testing, automation, and internal process improvements
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and enhancements across GEN core business systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement changes, and promote a DevOps and quality-first culture
- Work autonomously while providing feedback for continuous improvement in both infrastructure and testing processes
Requirements
- Proficiency in Linux-based hosting and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies
- Experience in testing API endpoints (HTTP, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN)
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams
