If InsuranceSenior Quality Engineer
Senior Quality Engineer ensuring high - quality web applications. Collaborating in Agile teams within the Nordic insurance sector to enhance software quality and user experiences.
About the role
- Responsible for building out test repositories and executing tests.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and promote efficiency.
- Requirement analysis, test planning, and test case development across platforms and services.
- Set standards and procedures within the team.
- Support QA efforts by planning, developing, and executing automated and functional tests against back-end RESTful APIs and front-end Web Applications.
- Troubleshoot issues, report findings, and escalate as necessary.
- Develop and enhance QA documentation and processes.
- Understand value of releasing quality code rapidly to production and when to iterate.
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects and mitigate recurrence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with functional testing.
- 3+ years of experience with test automation.
- Experience with tools such as Cypress (preferred), Postman, and Jira.
- Strong with troubleshooting technical issues and reporting defects.
- Analytical mind-set and problem-solving aptitude.
- Solution oriented/strategic thinker.
- Analysis, planning, troubleshooting, & root cause analysis.
- Excellent communicator that contributes in a timely manner.
- Must be proactive, motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong work ethic to exceed expectations and goals.
- Authorization to work in the country in which this role is located (application asks)
