About the role

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training materials for the Purchasing Department and other Fujifilm group companies to promote procurement mastery and consistent policy adherence
  • Conduct skills and competency assessments across procurement teams in partnership with management to create targeted annual training plans
  • Maintain, update, and communicate procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Utilize procurement analytics tools, primarily Ariba Spend Analysis and Pramata contract management systems, to monitor purchasing spend, contract compliance, and policy adherence
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement; prepare reports and dashboards for senior management review
  • Lead cross-functional compliance review meetings with Fujifilm group company stakeholders to evaluate compliance metrics, address gaps, and implement corrective action plans
  • Support procurement leadership in driving consistent policy and system compliance across North America and other applicable regions
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing teams to review contract pricing, support vendor meetings, and ensure contractual and pricing compliance
  • Monitor procurement contracts and agreements through monthly reporting; provide training and education sessions to ensure understanding of compliance obligations
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and execute communication strategies around procurement initiatives, system implementations (e.g., Ariba), and training programs
  • Facilitate procurement audits and assist with internal/external audit preparation related to purchasing activities
  • Review and validate purchasing documentation, meeting agendas, and reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with compliance objectives
  • Stay current on procurement regulations, industry standards, and best practices; recommend updates and enhancements to policies and processes as needed
  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for procurement compliance issues and provide guidance to stakeholders
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement transparency, risk management, and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent purchasing experience of 10 or more years
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and compliance best practices
  • Proficiency with procurement tools and systems such as Ariba, Pramata, or equivalent spend/contract management software
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in training delivery
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and influence stakeholders
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) (desired)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and corporate purchasing compliance requirements (desired)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Ariba Spend Analysis, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel advanced analytics (desired)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle in a procurement capacity (desired)
  • Must be within a commutable distance to Greenwood, SC area
