Responsibilities
Design piping and process systems for a variety of consumer goods, food, and beverage projects
Develop and maintain process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of design and drawing packages
Collaborate closely with contractors, vendors, and clients as part of a multidisciplinary project team
Participate in site visits for project meetings and field data collection (up to 20% travel annually)
Requirements
Associate’s degree in drafting/design or equivalent technical experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a designer in a relevant industry
3D design of process and utility system piping
Specification and modeling of 3D piping and equipment
Integration and management of multi-party 3D models for project use
Application of piping standards and component specifications in P&IDs
Coordination of design packages across multiple disciplines and vendors
Creation of mechanical/process details, 2D piping plans, elevations, and isometrics from 3D models or 2D files
5+ years of experience in the consumer products, food, and/or beverage industries (preferred)
Hands-on onsite field experience (preferred)
AutoCAD Plant 3D (preferred)
AutoCAD (preferred)
Revit (preferred)
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) (preferred)
Navisworks (preferred)
Autodesk Recap (preferred)
