About the role
- Project Manager leading complex projects for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Focusing on operational efficiency, team training, and project management frameworks in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, cross-departmental projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget and alignment to organizational objectives;
- Maintain oversight of project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications;
- Support the rollout of new initiatives and operational enhancements;
- Assist in the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and data-drive insights to improve decision-making;
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve overall efficiency;
- Partner with departments to support the development and implementation of project tracking, reporting, and accountability framework;
- Design and deliver staff training on project management principles, tools, and best practices tailored to nonprofit environments;
- Mentor staff to strengthen project planning, execution, and documentation skills;
- Foster a culture of monitoring, evaluation, learning, and collaboration across teams;
- Stay current on trends and best practices in project management and nonprofit operations.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business administration, nonprofit management, public health, or related field;
- 3+ years of experience in project management;
- Proven success implementing project management systems, standards, and tools across multiple teams;
- Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and team building experience;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and project management tools (e.g., Workday, Asana, Microsoft Project);
- Preferred PMP or other relevant project management certification;
- Preferred experience with staff training on project management and tools/framework identification.
