About the role

  • Manages project scope, budget, timelines, and resources during project lifespan
  • Provides management oversight across multiple projects within a Program
  • Operates in a business or technical environment, using analytical and evaluative techniques
  • Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders
  • Leads and supports project forecasting, stakeholder communications, tracking and management of issues and risks, and project close-out
  • Develops, approves, and applies necessary process improvements to workflows
  • Performs scenario development, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses
  • Drives towards continuous improvements in performance and deliverables

Requirements

  • 8-14 years of Project Management work experience in a regulated utility industry
  • Planning transmission or distribution work experience
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering University or relevant project and field experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to various levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents; safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work with a team
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deliverables at all levels of the business structure from entry level to executive level management
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
