About the role
- Project Manager delivering technology solutions for CDW clients through successful project management processes. Managing medium to large sized projects and stakeholder partnerships to exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Leverage experience, skillset, and methodologies to ensure clients' solutions align with their strategy
- Independently manage medium to large sized projects, adhering to CDW’s project management processes
- Validate initial project scope and estimates
- Track project budgets and resources
- Manage actuals vs. planned hours and report project financials to stakeholders
- Negotiate changes to achieve stakeholder satisfaction
- Gather information, determine impacts, and document mitigation steps
- Ensure all items defined in the CDW Statement of Work are delivered
- Perform quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish, monitor, adjust, and communicate tasks and associated schedules
- Manage equipment, software, licensing, and outside services procurement and delivery schedules
- Hold all project team members accountable for their scope of work and schedule commitments
- Instill trust with clients by building strong relationships with stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer related field
- 3 years of experience in Project Management
- 2 years of experience in leading small to medium scale projects in a professional services organization OR 7 years total Information Technology experience
- Project management or agile consulting experience across multiple technology stacks (e.g., Cloud, Security, Infrastructure)
- Ability to support presales activities and look for new sales opportunities
- Experience Project Managing projects with several technologies
- Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project/Office
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
