About the role

  • Project Manager leading a range of initiatives in water neutrality and innovation for Affinity Water. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver water neutral developments as part of a unique project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of a range of water neutral project work streams from concept to completion.
  • This may include commissioning consultancies or researchers to undertake project delivery or project evaluation / impact assessment.
  • Creating and delivering a clear vision of the work streams’ objectives and lead the project team in achieving them.
  • Developing cost estimates, schedules, key milestones, deliverables, and overall plans for projects.
  • Manage project governance activities and attending working groups and meetings which support project delivery.
  • Coordinate and analyse data and produce reports to measure the impact of the projects and the wider portfolio when required.
  • Ensure the portfolio meets the needs of our customers and target areas to get the best water savings to facilitate water neutral developments.
  • Work with key external stakeholders including our customers and wider community groups to support a reduction in water use to facilitate water neutral developments.
  • Lead weekly & monthly calls for Project Sponsor, Senior Leaders, Steering Group and Technical Steering group.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of leading large complex projects.
  • Experience of working with Developers & NAV’s
  • Strong technical knowledge of water fittings
  • Understanding of water regulations
  • Understanding of water industry legislation
  • Forward looking, with an ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into delivery activity.
  • Ability to deal with constant change, demonstrating an agile and flexible approach to work.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills in complex multi stakeholder environments.
