About the role
- Project Manager leading a range of initiatives in water neutrality and innovation for Affinity Water. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver water neutral developments as part of a unique project.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of a range of water neutral project work streams from concept to completion.
- This may include commissioning consultancies or researchers to undertake project delivery or project evaluation / impact assessment.
- Creating and delivering a clear vision of the work streams’ objectives and lead the project team in achieving them.
- Developing cost estimates, schedules, key milestones, deliverables, and overall plans for projects.
- Manage project governance activities and attending working groups and meetings which support project delivery.
- Coordinate and analyse data and produce reports to measure the impact of the projects and the wider portfolio when required.
- Ensure the portfolio meets the needs of our customers and target areas to get the best water savings to facilitate water neutral developments.
- Work with key external stakeholders including our customers and wider community groups to support a reduction in water use to facilitate water neutral developments.
- Lead weekly & monthly calls for Project Sponsor, Senior Leaders, Steering Group and Technical Steering group.
Requirements
- Significant experience of leading large complex projects.
- Experience of working with Developers & NAV’s
- Strong technical knowledge of water fittings
- Understanding of water regulations
- Understanding of water industry legislation
- Forward looking, with an ability to think strategically.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into delivery activity.
- Ability to deal with constant change, demonstrating an agile and flexible approach to work.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills in complex multi stakeholder environments.
