QBE InsuranceProgramme Manager, Reinsurance
Programme Manager leading the planning and delivery of projects within Reinsurance division at QBE. Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective stakeholder management.
About the role
- Lead complex client engagements and drive successful project delivery
- Manage cross-functional teams and build/maintain strong client relationships
- Engage and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Lead project planning sessions with internal and client staff
- Support solution proposals for client pursuits, proposals, and PoCs
- Participate in proposal and POC processes (design, submission and review)
- Support the creation of contracts and related communication with clients
- Identify and help secure growth opportunities for existing clients
- Lead the team to reach objectives and manage resources in an Agile way (Scrum/Kanban) using backlogs, planning, retrospectives
- Conduct regular/weekly project reviews and create reports with key metrics about team and project status
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Identify and manage issues, risks, assumptions, and dependencies
- Continuously optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Prepare and present regular reports, performance metrics, and key insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Perform any other tasks as may be assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a program director or project manager, with minimum 2 years experience as a program director
- Working knowledge of MS Office and program management software/tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Basecamp, MS Project, etc.)
- Solid insurance knowledge
- PMP Certificate is highly preferred
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
- Strong business acumen with strategic ability, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and industry events
- Must be able to speak in Spanish fluently
- Must be open to work in Central European Time or adjusted working hours in Central Timezone
