About the role

  • Own the day-to-day backlog for the website; work with the agency to plan and run sprints; ensure prioritisation reflects organisational needs and agreed roadmap.
  • Lead and enforce the content governance model, ensuring all site content is accurate, up to date, accessible and owned by the right people; surface underdeveloped sections for roadmap consideration.
  • For small releases, lead UAT and release testing; for larger redesigns, coordinate with Innovation, UX and Content to ensure comprehensive testing and sign-off.
  • Ensure the website meets accessibility standards, performs well in search, and delivers strong technical performance (speed, usability, stability). Highlight risks and work with the agency to resolve issues.
  • Act as first point of contact for website development requests; manage expectations; communicate sprint and release plans clearly.
