Responsibilities
Understand and articulate the business's strategic goals, translating them into a clear product vision.
Gather and document business requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders.
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories.
Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure user stories meet the acceptance criteria.
Provide knowledge transfer and support to designers and developers.
Create and maintain project documentation including user stories, functional requirements, process flows, etc.
Continuously refine the product backlog and respond to feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of product ownership.
Experience in business process mapping to analyze, visualize, and optimize workflows will be highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in business and product management, showcasing the ability to align product vision with organizational goals.
PMP Certification is a plus (Yes/No) — candidates with PMP credentials will be prioritized.
Familiarity or proficiency with most of the following: Analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboarding and data visualization tools.
Microsoft Azure Platforms and Services including DevOps, Data Factory, SQL Database, Functions, and Logic Apps.
Data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Data retrieval and manipulation via APIs including integrating with 3rd party data sources or systems (RESTful APIs and related networking protocols).
SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
Project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, best practices, software development processes, and technologies.
Strong technical knowledge to effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and developers.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines within an Agile environment.
