About the role

  • Understand and articulate the business's strategic goals, translating them into a clear product vision.
  • Gather and document business requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure user stories meet the acceptance criteria.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to designers and developers.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including user stories, functional requirements, process flows, etc.
  • Continuously refine the product backlog and respond to feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of product ownership.
  • Experience in business process mapping to analyze, visualize, and optimize workflows will be highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in business and product management, showcasing the ability to align product vision with organizational goals.
  • PMP Certification is a plus (Yes/No) — candidates with PMP credentials will be prioritized.
  • Familiarity or proficiency with most of the following: Analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboarding and data visualization tools.
  • Microsoft Azure Platforms and Services including DevOps, Data Factory, SQL Database, Functions, and Logic Apps.
  • Data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
  • Data retrieval and manipulation via APIs including integrating with 3rd party data sources or systems (RESTful APIs and related networking protocols).
  • SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, best practices, software development processes, and technologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge to effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and developers.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines within an Agile environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in responding to new information, requirement changes, and shifting priorities in an evolving business landscape.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
