Responsibilities
Own the strategic vision and execution across three pillars of Consumer Product Quality
Lead the development and rollout of intelligent, AI-driven systems that identify and prevent critical product defects before they impact the customer experience
Define and track North Star quality metrics that directly correlate to user trust and business goals
Architect solutions that ensure the reliability and trustworthiness of AI models and features embedded across the Coinbase ecosystem
Develop deep customer insights to identify and instrument the highest-friction points and quality gaps in core user journeys
Drive initiatives to proactively improve the success and stability of these core journeys using data science and AI signals, ensuring world-class reliability and simplicity for all users
Architect systems and processes to prevent and resolve systemic localization quality issues at scale, including translation accuracy, regional compliance, and ensuring cultural nuance is maintained in the product experience
Serve as the primary voice of Consumer Product Quality, partnering deeply with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Product leadership to embed quality standards and best practices throughout the entire product development lifecycle
Requirements
6+ years of Product Management experience, with substantial experience driving product quality, reliability, or platform stability for a high-scale B2C product
A proven track record of leveraging AI/ML, data science, or sophisticated technical methods to solve systemic product quality, relevance, or reliability challenges
Expertise in defining, measuring, and reporting on product quality metrics
Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable independently analyzing complex datasets, identifying root causes, and quantifying customer and business impact
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive complex cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, maintaining alignment across diverse, geographically distributed teams
