About the role

  • Support global budgeting, forecasting, and expense management/controllership for PGIM’s Institutional Client Group (ICG), assisting in the preparation and review of financial models and reports
  • Support headcount and compensation planning, including incentive plan modeling and scenario analysis under guidance from senior team members
  • Maintain and update the ICG income statement and other financial documents, ensuring cross-platform consistency and compliance
  • Assist in preparing financial insights and reports for senior leadership, ensuring data accuracy and actionable recommendations
  • Prepare and analyze KPI metrics and dashboards for monthly committee updates and executive presentations
  • Deliver functional and ad hoc reporting/analytics, responding to special requests and supporting cross-platform capability as needed
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of reporting templates, leveraging tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Anaplan
  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to gather and synthesize relevant financial data
  • Coordinate with Investment Capabilities teams to collect pipeline data and business-at-risk information, contributing to flow forecasts and consolidated reporting
  • Assist in preparing consolidated flow reporting and sharing Investment Capabilities-specific reports with IC Finance leads
  • Support product and distribution profitability analytics by collecting and analyzing financial data
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency within reporting and analytics workflows
  • Assist with special projects and analysis, contributing to team deliverables and supporting strategic initiatives across Finance
  • Assist with M&A activities, providing financial analysis and documentation support as required
  • Participate in industry surveys, providing data and analysis as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • In pursuit of advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a related finance role
  • Experience in asset management or financial services with a strong interest in financial markets and investment products
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial modeling and the ability to manipulate large data sets and create financial models
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Anaplan and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and partnering skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on process improvement and automation
