About the role

• Senior PHP developer building and maintaining Mapon's fleet management and tracking products using PHP, Node.js, TiDB and observability tools within a cross-functional product team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain existing and new product solutions (driver behavior analysis, online maps, tachograph solutions, etc.)
• Develop, enhance and maintain Smart operations product features (task management, route planning, vehicle inspections, custom forms)
• Work primarily on Back-End development (PHP 8.2+) and collaborate on Node.js/C++ components
• Collaborate with Back-End and Front-End developers, QA specialists and Product Owner under guidance of technical lead
• Work with large-volume data technologies (TiDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Memcached) and MariaDB for primary data storage
• Implement and maintain observability and performance monitoring (Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Use Git/GitLab and GitLab CI for version control and automation
• Use Docker for development and testing; experiment with new technologies and Gen AI tools
• Deliver reliable, scalable fleet management and tracking features for B2B clients

Requirements

• Senior PHP Programmer (senior level)
• Experience with PHP (8.2+)
• Experience with Back-End technologies: Node.js, Gp, C++
• Front-End experience with React framework (desirable)
• Experience with MariaDB (SQL) and TiDB for timeseries data
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, Memcached
• Familiarity with Sentry, Grafana & Prometheus (APM)
• Proficiency with git and GitLab, including GitLab CI pipelines
• Experience with Docker for development and test environments
• Comfortable using Gen AI tools in development
• Ability to work in a cross-functional product team under a technical lead
