About the role
- Performance Analysis Analyst at Fidelity Investments supporting investment performance reporting and analytics for a range of portfolios. Collaborating with teams to enhance performance and attribution data quality and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple types of investment performance reporting and analytics for Fidelity portfolios
- Field inquiries from the investment staff and senior leaders about performance and attribution results
- Work with index, accounting, and advisor analytics data for performance and attribution data needs
- Execute the performance data quality processes and procedures daily, driving enhancements
- Ensure performance and attribution reporting results across product types are delivered to investment staff, product managers, and senior leaders
- Collaborate with various teams to lead initiatives and define business requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience; 2+ years of experience in fund accounting or performance related environment preferred
- Some knowledge of performance, attribution, and multi-asset class investment strategies
- Knowledge of investment instruments of all types
- Strong Microsoft office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with team members and present/implement process improvement ideas.
- Responding to adhoc inquiries from portfolio managers, senior leaders and other clients/business partners
- Ability to problem solve complex data issues and effectively communicate to clients and other stakeholders
- Compiling, analyzing, and validating performance and attribution results that are distributed across the organization and externally
- Maintaining internal controls and thorough documentation of policies and procedures
- Supporting performance and attribution data quality and integrity
