About the role

  • Ensure payroll accuracy by effective administration of the payroll process and relationship with the payroll suppliers
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing (calculations, deductions, bonuses, leave, terminations, and lifecycle changes)
  • Collaborate with external payroll providers and manage supplier relationships
  • Manage payroll month-end close process and prepare payroll reports, ensuring smooth payroll authorization
  • Maintain close contact with internal and external auditors to ensure payroll calculations
  • Ensure accuracy of data and salary calculations through payroll controls and validations
  • Address and resolve payroll-related questions from employees, managers, and other departments
  • Stay up to date on changes in Swiss labor law, tax regulation, social insurance policies and implement process changes
  • Share feedback with HR lead and regional/global contacts to continuously improve payroll-linked processes

Requirements

  • Min. 3 years of experience in payroll for Switzerland
  • Very good German and communicative English
  • Practical knowledge of payroll and tax regulations for Switzerland
  • Good knowledge and practice in using MS Office
  • Ability to perform the tasks in compliance with existing procedures
  • Strong internal customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Proactiveness and sense of ownership of assigned tasks
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, team spirit, attention to details
  • Knowledge of Workday, SAP and Abacus HR systems very welcome
  • French language – nice to have
