- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees in Spain and Italy
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies

- Collaborate with new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies or errors
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll-related journal entries and reporting
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors or platforms
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and payslips
- Support audits and reporting requirements as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or similar role in Spain (+2 or 3 years experience)
- Solid understanding of payroll principles, labor legislation, and tax regulations
- Experience working with payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Deel, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and payroll reports
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
