About the role

  • Receipt and independent handling of client-related and administrative tasks
  • File maintenance and organization (primarily electronic)
  • Preparation and formatting of client-related documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Management of client/matter setup (conflict checks and preparation of fee agreements)
  • Preparation and processing of client invoices in our internal billing system in close cooperation with the lawyers
  • Travel and calendar management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a foreign language secretary, office management clerk, a comparable commercial qualification, or as a legal assistant
  • Proven professional experience in a similar assistant role (preferably at a commercial law firm)
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools, excellent formatting skills, and willingness to learn additional software
  • Excellent German language skills (spoken and written) and good command of English
