About the role

• Solicitor managing complex Motor Insurance litigated cases in Manchester/Leeds. Mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with client SLAs in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage & progress a complex litigated caseload of Motor Defendant Insurance cases
• Appropriately apply the specific technical principles needed to drive the proactive settlement
• Have knowledge of and work cases in line with all client SLAs
• Use case management systems to improve speed of settlement
• Identify any cases which may require further investigation surrounding Fraud indicators
• Prioritise and organise your work efficiently
• Act as a mentor/provide support and guidance to more junior team members

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor
• Experience of running a more complex Motor Insurance Litigated Caseload
• Sound knowledge of the MOJ, Small Track process
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs
• Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Previous experience of working with Visual Files case management system (desirable)
• Experience supervising / mentoring other team members (desirable)
