About the role
- Milk Supply Planner responsible for managing raw milk balances and optimizing transport costs at Müller UK & Ireland. Fixed term role based in Market Drayton, hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage raw milk balances by milk type at daily and weekly levels.
- Provide detailed examination of historical data, investigate and understand anomalies and build into future plans.
- Provide detailed communication with accurate administration of hauliers and suppliers.
- Identify potential issues (such as surpluses and deficits of numerous products), identifying resolutions and reacting in a timely manner to address the issues.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers and customers to support the network in achieving optimal cost saving activities.
- Raise purchase and sales orders for external vendors and action invoice approvals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally in an FMCG environment, or, transport planning
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good analytical skills
- Demonstratable relationship building skills.
